Eligible residents must visit the township office to obtain a voucher card. Each card will be individualized with the resident's name, client ID and photo which will be taken at the Township. Cards may only be used with approved taxi companies as set forth by Palatine Township, please do not contact the township office to schedule a ride. Palatine Township provides senior and disabled residents with Taxi Voucher Cards. Taxi Voucher card swipes are worth $4.00 off the metered taxi fare. Only one voucher card swipe can be used per ride. After the card is swiped, the rider is responsible for paying the balance of the remaining fare and tips. Participants are allowed 10 voucher card swipes per month. Voucher card swipes do not carry over from the previous month.
