MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID | RISE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS
Mental Health First Aid: Program is designed to teach people how to help individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis or developing a mental health problem. Provides information on how to recognize common mental health disorders, how to provide initial help, and how to guide individuals towards appropriate professional help. Adult Mental Health First Aid: Teaches people how to recognize signs of mental health or substance use challenges in adults ages 18 and older, how to offer and provide initial help, and how to guide a person toward appropriate care if necessary. Youth Mental Health First Aid: Teaches people how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing mental health or addiction challenges, or is in crisis. Primarily designed for adults who regularly interact with young people.
