Workforce Development

The YWCA Elgin & Advocate Aurora Health Workforce Development program offers a 9 week paid internship. This internship includes both clinical (C.N.A. & Phlebotomy) and entry level non-clinical healthcare positions. During the internship the YWCA will prepare you with practice interviews, updating resumes, and coaching to increase your employability. Next you will participate in three - 3 week rotations.

Mon 8:30am - 5:30pm; Tue 8:30am - 5:30pm; Wed 8:30am - 5:30pm; Thu 8:30am - 5:30pm; Fri 8:30am - 5:30pm; The YWCA Elgin is open year round Monday through Friday. With the exception of designated holidays.From September through mid-May the YWCA Elgin is open from 8:00am to 8:30pm.
