Children's Place Association's Child Thrive Community Center partners with residents to build stronger connections, improve living conditions, and promote health and safety. Inspired by West Humboldt Park's resilience, Child Thrive offers youth mentoring, trauma counseling, support groups, healthcare access, and after-school programs. Partnering with schools, they ensure children grow in a safe, supportive environment.Since July 2021, Child Thrive has collaborated with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Juvenile Protective Association, Rush Medical Center, and the West Humboldt Park Development Council to build resilience and empower youth.
