Eligibility

Guardians may be appointed, pending approval from the court, to serve as a substitute decision maker if a person is disabled because of: mental deterioration; physical incapacity; mental illness; developmental disability.

Description

Provides adult guardianship services to eligible adult wards when a probate court appoints the office as legal guardian. Also provides basic information and advice about adult guardianship.
