Hanul Family Alliance has been offering citizenship-related programs since 1996 and received official approval as a U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) accredited agency in 2011. The approval allows Hanul's DOJ-accredited staff to practice immigration law and offer extended immigration services at the agency.

Hanul Family Alliance is a community organization that offers a wide range of programs and services for Korean immigrants and the general public in Chicago, suburban Cook County, and Lake County.
