CTJC's individual counseling practice consists of therapeutic techniques that center their philosophy of Politicized Healing of first and secondary race-based trauma caused by state violence and incarceration. Their Community Counseling model responds by truly meeting individuals where they are-in homes and neighborhood settings that work best for them to engage with the process. Their clinical team specializes in facilitating Politicized Healing through modalities such as Family Systems Therapy, Psychodynamics, Narrative Therapy, and the Community Counseling Model.
