Description
The Young Adult Guardianship project is designed for families with children who live with a permanent disability who are transitioning to adulthood upon their 18th birthdays. CDEL representatives go into the community to assist families with completing the necessary paperwork to file for guardianship of the person. CDEL representatives also fully represent eligible clients in the guardianship process.
