Vocational Rehabilitation | Missouri Rehabilitation Services for the Blind

Provides services needed to enter, remain in or return to suitable employment. Services include diagnosis and evaluation; counseling and guidance; vision restoration programs like uninsured people needing cataract surgery or glaucoma surgery. Provide training to continue employment or school, technical or trade jobs and job placement/development. Also provide help adapting electronic aides/devices for the workplace and follow-up services.

Provides services to people with varying degrees of visual impairment, ranging from those who cannot read regular print to those who are totally blind. Services include vocational rehabilitation to those who have barriers to employment or school due to their vision, educate in aspects of independent living skills, have an Older Blind Services program and children's services and services for the prevention of blindness AKA MO-RSB
