Police Assisted Addiction and Recovery Initiatives | LAKE FOREST POLICE DEPARTMENT - A Way Out

Provides individuals assistance to substance abuse programs and services. No criminal charges will be sought for prospective program participants that may be in possession of drugs. If a client is in possession of any illegal or legal drugs, the representative will take them and destroy them appropriately. A representative will deliver a phone screening to the Lake County Health Department. Based on the evaluation, outpatient or inpatient treatment tracts will be recommended. Note: If you are unable to pay for treatment due to lack of insurance or financial resources, you will not be turned away from participation.
