Description
New Trier Township's Community Support Grant program can provide financial assistance to residents for necessary medical/therapeutic expenses that are not covered by insurance. Annually, applications open in September. Service expenses for children may include child care, family counseling, medical expenses, modifications to make their home accessible, respite care, and more. Service expenses for adults may include crisis management, home health services, home modifications, personal care services, and more.

New Trier Township provides a variety of services for residents from emergency financial assistance and a food pantry to passports, handicap placards, a peer jury program, and more. New Trier Township's mission is to provide leadership, advocacy, and resources to benefit the physical, mental, and social well-being of residents. Established in 1850, New Trier Township government serves more than 60,000 residents in the villages of Glencoe, Kenilworth, Wilmette and Winnetka, plus portions of Glenview and Northfield east of Harms Road and Northfield Road.
