Community Support Grants

New Trier Township Community Support Grant program can provide financial assistance to residents for necessary medical/therapeutic expenses which are not covered by insurance. Annually, applications open in September. Service expenses for children may include child care, family counseling, medical expenses, modifications to make their home accessible, respite care, and more. Service expenses for adults may include crisis management, home health services, home modifications, personal care services, and more.

Interested residents must complete an application. Applications are available in the New Trier Township office at 739 Elm Street, Winnetka, or may be downloaded online when available

* Restricted to residents of New Trier Township * Children must live with a biological, adoptive or foster parent OR live with a legal guardian * Adults may live full-time in their own home or apartment OR live in a private home with a relative or guardian OR live together with as many as three unrelated adults * Additionally considerations may apply for persons with a disability
