The self-directed assistant will assess, review, and coordinate the individual's personal, educational, and social needs to ensure that all are being met. The self-directed assistant is part of a team that works with the individual and the family to implement a Personal Support Plan (PSP) that can be adjusted and refined according to changing needs, goals, and wishes.
