Services include: - Patrolling neighborhoods and investigating crimes. - Neighborhood Focus Team: Focuses on towing/animal complaints, sex offender compliance, and liaison services for PACE as well as the City legal department. - Maintains crime statistics and data for the city. - Informs the community on matters pertaining to their protection. - Educates the community and increases public awareness of crime prevention. - Utilizes detectives who specialize in covert investigations. - Serve Bloomington's public high and junior high schools by building positive relationships with students and school staff, assessing building and safety concerns in the schools and acting as liaisons between law enforcement and the school system.
