Houses Kane County's core of legal research materials, including print products and online databases. Provides the following law library services to residents of Kane County: - Legal materials available for borrowing. - Charging stations (for phones, tablets and computers). - Computers with internet and scanners for eFiling, and cameras and audio for Zoom court access. - Databases. - Video magnifier low vision aids. - Meeting rooms (available for client meetings, depositions, quiet study, mediation, etc.). - Printing and delivery (wireless printing if available from mobile devices). - Ordering documents. - InterLibrary loan. - Purchase materials (library may be able to order some legal titles at a discount for patrons to own). - Lawyer in the Library. Lawyer in the Library: Divorce and Family Law Help: Family law lawyers volunteer to answer brief divorce and family law questions for self-represented litigants with Kane County cases. Priority will be given to those who have been sent by a judge and need to immediately return to court. Drivers' Privilege Clinic: Volunteer attorneys from the Kane County Bar Association offer free legal advice to assist in getting driving privileges re-instated.

- Library does not accept debit or credit cards. - Borrowers are responsible for fees for lost or damaged materials. Meeting Rooms: - $10 reservation fee. Printing and Delivery: Printing: - $0.15 per page. Photocopying: - $0.15 per page (black and white). - $0.50 per page (color). - $5.00 surcharge if the library photocopies for the patron. Scanning: - $1 per page. Ordering Documents: - Photocopying specific documents at $5 per citation plus copy costs ($0.15 per page) for in-person pick-up. - Emailing specific documents at $5 per citation plus a $5 invoicing fee. Purchase Materials: $10 administrative fee.
