Sinai Community Institute's AmeriCorps Initiative offers people an opportunity to make a difference in healthcare and beyond. Sinai AmeriCorps has two main goals: to address public health needs of local communities by providing support in health settings and advancing more equitable health outcomes for underserved communities, and create pathways to good quality public health-related careers through onsite experience and training, with a focus on recruiting AmeriCorps members who reflect the communities in which they will serve. Corps member benefits include a living allowance, an education award, and training from experts.
