Veteran Service Officers (VSOs), are fellow veterans and experts on federal, state, and local veteran resources. VSOs provide free assistance to veterans and their dependents and survivors. They help veterans apply for federal and state benefits as well as provide resources related to the following: - Compensation and pension. - Health care. - Education and training. - Employment. - Burial and survivor. - Housing. - Permits. - Transportation. - Military records.
