Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council (BYNC), through community partnerships with Precious Blood, Institute for Nonviolence Chicago, and Metropolitan Family Services, Gads Hills, brings safe community spaces throughout the Back of the Yards community. The mission is to create and reclaim safe community spaces between 43rd Street and 55th Street and from Western Blvd. to Halsed Ave. during the summer months (July through September) from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday through Saturday.
