Hana Center's Youth Empowerment + Organizing programs provide supportive communities for high school and college-aged youth to gain skills of leadership, critical thinking, emotional awareness, and creative expression. They welcome all youth from the City of Chicago and northwest suburbs with any background or level of experience.All programs offer opportunities for youth to have one-on-one conversations with our Youth Organizers and with fellow HANA staff. These one-on-ones serve as opportunities for youth to set personal goals, whether that's to work on mental health, boost grades, start a new hobby, get a job, or prepare for college.
