The Community Outreach Program provides counseling, advocacy, and outreach to survivors of domestic violence. Community Outreach staff facilitate workshops in schools to educate students on the signs and effects of domestic violence. They also teach conflict resolution and healthy relationship-building skills. Community Outreach staff facilitate over ten on-site and community-based support groups weekly for victims of domestic violence. These provide a safe, confidential place for survivors to express their feelings and experiences while receiving the support and empowerment they need to make healthy, secure choices for themselves and their families.

Family Rescue, Inc. is dedicated to eliminating domestic violence in the Chicago community by providing comprehensive support services and shelter to victims of domestic violence, particularly abused women and their children. They also engage in advocacy to promote future system change and encourage prevention through community education.
