Eligibility

Customers living in single-family homes, two-flats, condos, mobile homes, manufactured homes, and townhomes are eligible for Home Energy Savings. Renters in these building types are also eligible, with their landlord's permission.To be eligible for Home Energy Savings, total household income must be at or below 80% Area Median Income (AMI).To qualify for free weatherization and additional savings improvements, ComEd customers must meet additional criteria, including but not limited to household income eligibility requirements. If eligible, you may be referred to the Illinois Home Weatherization Assistance Program (IHWAP), which provides free weatherization improvements based on both program funding and program eligibility. These services are determined after completing an in-home assessment.
