Eligibility

Resident of Illinois; Must meet income guidelines; Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents (ABAWDs): Must meet SNAP Work Requirements; Must fulfill at least one of the following conditions to be exempt from Work Requirement: Experiencing chronic homelessness; Be pregnant; Have a physical or mental condition that impacts how much you can work; Living in a household with a child under 14 years of age; Are in a substance use treatment program; Attending a school, college, or training program at least part-time; Responsible for taking care of a child under 6 years of age, even if the child is not yours or living in your home).

Required documents

Photo ID (such as state ID, driver's license or passport) Proof of address (such as a utility bill, copy of lease or mortgage statement) Income and asset documentation (such as W-2 forms, tax returns, bank statements) Additional documents may be requested.
