Immigration Project

Life Span's Immigration Project helps immigrant survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault who are undocumented with pro bono legal services. Staff can communicate in Spanish, Polish, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, Korean, and Russian as well as using a language line. This ensures clients can seek safety without fear of deportation and without depending on a domestic abuser.Life Span assists with the following types of petitions: Violence Against Women's Act Self Petitions, Battered Spouse Waivers, and U Visas.
