DAY / SUMMER CAMPS | GIRL SCOUTS OF NORTHERN ILLINOIS

Offers facilities for troops and groups to use to create their own unique camping experience. They range from tents and cabins to year-round lodges.

Day Camp offers girls the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors during the day and return home each evening. The camps at Camp Dean and Camp McCormick offer an overnight option once during the week-long program. The camp sessions are facilitated by resident camp staff.

Resident (overnight) Camp girls live at camp for sessions ranging from 3 days/ 2 nights up to 13 days/ 12 nights. During their stay, girls live in sleeping cabins, platform tents, Adirondacks, or covered wagons. Girls can attend on their own, with a buddy (current Girl Scout or non-member), or with girls from their troop. Resident Camp is run by seasonal camp staff.
