Assistance designed to prevent the incidence of homelessness, including, but not limited to: - Emergency rent assistance for families in imminent danger of eviction. - Security deposits or first month's rent to help a family move into permanent housing in order to divert homelessness. - Emergency financial assistance to prevent housing foreclosure. - Referrals to services designed to prevent the incidence of homelessness.

Eligibility

- Resident of area served for one year. - Must demonstrate proof of emergency situation in the past six months. - Security deposit assistance requires a need for relocation (such as fleeing domestic violence, divorce, eviction, etc). - Must be able to contribute some portion of rent/deposit. - Must be employed to prove rent will continue to be paid.
