Provides 24-hour emergency relief to individuals and families affected by disasters such as house fires, earthquakes, floods, tornados, etc. Educates people in how to prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. Health and Safety Services offer courses in first aid, CPR, child-care, nurse assistant training, babysitting, swimming-life guarding and more on a regular basis. Courses and training are offered at the Chapter facilities or can be arranged at different localities for businesses and groups. Blood Services collects blood donations and supplies safe blood and blood products to local healthcare providers. Also offers various types of volunteering opportunities for adults and youth.
