Child Development Classes | Missouri Bootheel Regional Consortium

Home visitation case management services that provides appropriate education and resource referrals to promote healthier pregnancies and infants. Parenting skills, pregnancy/childbirth education, child development, nutrition, breastfeeding classes, and healthy baby classes are offered to all participants. Pregnancy testing and depression screening available, plus referrals to other organizations for needed supportive services.

Missouri Bootheel Healthy Start works to reduce infant mortality and to improve the health and well-being of infants, mothers, fathers, and families in Scott, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscot, and Dunklin Counties. This is accomplished through in-home case management services, outreach, education and training, and community mobilization services for consumers and providers in the project area.
