School Age Program - Center for Independence - Countryside Main Center
Center for Independence's The Hope Collective provides motor training programs based on the principles of Conductive Education for children with physical disabilities. Physical therapists, occupational therapists, and conductive education teachers work with the participant on strengthening, improving gross and fine motor skills, and increasing independence in an engaging social environment. Family support and parent education are built into the program to involve the whole team on the journey towards independence. This program is for children with physical disabilities who are medically stable and cleared for intensive therapy, motivated by a peer environment, and able to functionally see and hear.
