Transitional Housing/Shelter | ALLENDALE ASSOCIATION - Runaway/Homeless Shelter, Boys and Young Adults

Emergency Shelter Provides emergency shelter for boys and youth identifying as boys, ages 14-17 years. Serves eight boys at a time with maximum stay of 120 days. Offers support and guidance to plan next steps. Transitional Housing Provides transitional living program for young adults of any gender, ages 18-23 years. Serves six young adults for up to two years. Also offers two emergency beds for young adults.

For Emergency Shelter: - Must be boys or youth identifying as a boy, between the ages of 14-17 years For Transitional Housing: - Must be homeless young adults between the ages of 18-23 years Additionally, may not: - be insulin dependent - have a history of sexual or physical aggression or fire-setting - be in acute mental health or substance use crisis requiring immediate hospitalization - have an IQ below 60
