Provides seniors and people with disabilities curb-to-curb transportation for work, shopping, medical appointments, and others. *As a reservation-based program, vehicles do not travel on a fixed route each day. Riders schedule trips in advance and the vehicles provide curb-to-curb service. Ride Lake County is a shared-ride service, so vehicles may make stops for other passengers. Before scheduling their ride, residents must register through Pace by calling their call center at 1-800-201-6446.*

Application process

Call to schedule a reservation at least two hours or up to seven days in advance. Rides are first-come, first-served. Documents Required: - Seniors must provide date of birth - Individuals with disabilities must provide RTA Reduced Fare Permit number

Fee

Set Program Fee: - $2.00 each way for trips under 5 miles - $4.00 each way for trips between 5 and 10 miles - $6.00 each way for trips over 10 miles

Eligibility

- Must be a senior (Age 60+) or an individual with a disability - Riders under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult - Rides must either originate or end within Lake County boundaries
