The Shelter Placement and Resource Center (SPARC) operates a 24/7 intake site that connects single adults with shelter placements and provides basic interim services. These services include access to food, showers, and overflow shelter. SPARC can serve up to 200 individuals awaiting shelter placement. Once full capacity is reached, both daytime and overnight waiting areas will close. SPARC is operated by Franciscan Outreach and New Life Centers and funded by the Illinois Department of Human Services.
