Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) Employment Skills School (ESS) is a six-week computer-based program designed for returning citizens seeking employment. The curriculum, developed by a professor at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, includes all aspects of employment training and an open computer lab. Classes include resume building, mock job interviews, financial planning, computer literacy, diversity training, and soft skills development.
