Mental Health Counseling and Substance Use Treatment | Kendall County Health Department

Offers outpatient counseling services for children age 5 and older, adolescents, and adults dealing with a wide range of behavioral health and substance use concerns, including anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, grief, and life transitions. Services include:

— Individual therapy

— Family counseling

— Couples counseling

— Grief therapy

— Anger management treatment

— Trauma-informed care

— Client and caregiver support

— Caregiver education and coaching

— Outpatient substance treatment.

Evaluations provided include

— Mental health evaluations

— Anger evaluations

— Drug and alcohol evaluations

— DUI evaluations, and DUI update evaluations

​Psychiatric services are provided for adults and youth 13 years and older who are actively engaged in counseling, through our contracted psychiatrist and/or nurse practitioner. These services address medication needs and comprehensive psychiatric evaluations.
