City of Palos Hills provides low-cost, door-to-door transportation within the limits of Palos Township for residents age 60 and above or individuals with disabilities. The bus is wheelchair equipped but is not equipped for medical emergencies.

Application process

Telephone reservations are required the day before the ride is needed, call (708) 430-3822 between 8:00am to 12:00pm, Monday through Friday. Rides are scheduled on a first-call basis, with medical appointments a priority. The phone is equipped with voice mail for after-hour messages. Once the schedule has been prepared the rider will receive a call-back with the scheduled pick-up time for the following day. Please call the Dispatcher if you need to cancel your ride as soon as possible. Leave a message if after hours.

Self-pay; Fare is $2.00 one-way or $4.00 round trip
