Greenlight Family Services provides up to five home-based therapeutic support sessions at no cost to DCFS families, children, adolescents, and caregivers to help them manage life challenges and stress. For families not involved with DCFS, Greenlight offers individualized, trauma-informed services on a sliding scale based on household income. Social workers are available to meet with individuals or families in their homes or at a convenient location to provide therapeutic support during times of transition or stress.

Greenlight Family Services is a nonprofit organization that has been serving Illinois since 2003. Greenlight's work centers on Illinois adoption and guardianship, as well as post-adoption and post-guardianship services. Families include those with children who were a part of the foster care system and those who have not been involved. Greenlight also provides free trauma-informed therapy sessions for students who are survivors of sexual assault through its Greenlight Counseling program.
