Owensville Municipal Utilities include water and sewer. Bills are sent out the 1st of each month. Payment may be made at the utilities office located in City Hall located at 107 West Sears Avenue. The City of Owensville was incorporated in 1911 as a Fourth Class City with a Mayor-Board of Aldermen government structure. The Mayor and Aldermen serve two-year terms. There are two wards in the City with two Aldermen who live in each ward as representatives. All municipal activities are conducted in City Hall for the residents of Owensville.
