Description

Training addresses a range of needs for people who are ready to accept responsibility for directing their lives. Individuals learn that they have the right and responsibility to pursue goals of self-determination and self-sufficiency.

Program participants are linked with a program staff person who will work with an individual to develop individual life goals, and to plan the steps necessary to achieve their goals. Through the process of pursuing their goals, staff also provides participants with the information and support they need to make informed choices, and to access community resources, and with education that enables participants to serve as their own advocate.
