HOME VISITING | SHAWNEE HEALTH SERVICE
A voluntary home visiting program that provides family support and coaching for expectant parents and parents of young children birth to 3. The program provides guidance about child development, child safety, practical parenting skills, and family bonding. The agency's trained professionals provide regular visits based on the family's needs, preferences, and schedules. Visits may be in-person or virtual. Doula services are also available. This includes prenatal information and support, labor coaching, breastfeeding, postpartum depression support, and assistance in the early weeks after childbirth.

- New parents or expecting a baby. - Resident of area served. - Recipient of WIC, SNAP, or Medicaid, or eligible for those services. - Families do not have to be Shawnee Health Service patients to participate in our Healthy Families program.
