Eligibility

- Renters who lived and paid rent in Missouri for the entire calendar year. If renting from a facility that DOES NOT pay property taxes, person is not eligible for a Circuit Breaker - Age 65 years and older - Ages 18-64 years receiving SSI, SSD, or Veterans Disability benefits - Ages 60-64 years and received surviving spouse social security benefits - Income limits apply. To be eligible, annual income must be $27,200 or less for a single person and $29,200 or less for a household.
