Assistance is also only available in an area where a disaster, declared by the President of the United States, occurred. If a disaster is federally declared, FEMA may provide financial assistance for: - Necessary home repairs - Emergency assistance for mortgage and rent - Home replacement - Medical and dental services - Funeral services - Transportation, moving, and storage services
