Family Therapy
Family psychotherapy is a process where (ideally) all of the members of a primary family meet together with a trained mental health professional in a series of safe, affirming, and confidential group sessions. The goals of family therapy are to create the tools, boundaries & rules that can enable effective communication, reduce conflict, and help each family member develop individually and feel connected to the family unit. Family therapy can help members with feelings of / reactions to grief, anger, sadness, depression, anxiety, conflict or disconnection.
