Description

Angel of God Resource Center, Inc. (AOGRC) has two recognized and approved programs under WIOA, Training Observation Practice Program (T.O.P.), an automotive academic hands-on training program, and the Financial Services Program (F.S.P.), our training in Insurance for Life & Health and Property & Casualty. The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (W.I.O.A.) is designed to help job seekers access employment, education, training, and support services to succeed in the labor market and to match employers with the skilled workers they need to compete in the global economy. W.I.O.A. brings together, in strategic coordination, the core programs of Federal investment in skill development, employment, and training services for adults, dislocated workers, and youth. The Wagner-Peyser employment services, administered by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), grants to states, adult education and family literacy programs, as well as State Vocational Rehabilitation Service programs to assist eligible individuals with disabilities in obtaining employment. Both core programs are administered by the U.S. Department of Education (ED).
