Summer Eats Program | United Way of Lee County

Summer 2026:

Starting June 3rd through Aug 5th, children and teens can receive free meals throughout the summer by visiting one of the sites throughout Lee County or Ogle County. No registration or ID is required.

Lunch-serving sites are open on Wednesdays, providing three grab-and-go meals for each child.

Dixon meal sites and serving times include:

- Old Lincoln School: 12 pm-12:30 pm.

- St Paul Lutheran Church: 12 pm-12:30 pm.

- Wooden Wonderland: 12 pm-12:30 pm.

- Splash Pad at Vaile Park: 12 pm-12:30 pm.

- Dixon High School: 12 pm-12:30 pm.

- Jefferson School: 12 pm-12:30 pm.

- Washington School: 12 pm-12:30 pm.

Lee County Library Partners (served on Wednesdays during their open hours):

- Amboy Public Library.

- Ashton Public Library.

- Dixon Public Library.

- Franklin Grove Public Library.

- Paw Paw Public Library.

Ogle County Locations:

- Oregon Public Library: Serves on Wednesdays during open hours.

- Polo Public Library: Serves on Thursdays during open hours.

- Mount Morris Public Library: Serves on Wednesdays during open hours.

- Valley Covenant Church, Stillman Valley: Serves on Wednesdays from 12 pm-12:30 pm.
