FOOD FOR SENIORS | FAMILY SERVICE OF CHAMPAIGN COUNTY

- The Food for Seniors program provides groceries to income eligible seniors in Champaign and Urbana who are in need of food. Groceries are delivered by volunteers on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. - Emergency Food Fund for Seniors: Seniors determined to be in emergent need of food by caseworkers may get food to cover them until other resources are available. (For example, a senior needs food on a Friday when there are no open food pantries). Caseworker will submit a request for emergency funds to shop and deliver food to the senior to cover the weekend. Service is available in Champaign and Douglas Counties.
