Youth Employment Programs | YOUTH CONSERVATION CORPS - Summer Conservation Program at Lake County Forest Preserve
Offers students an opportunity to work with the Lake County Forest Preserve District as a paid summer internship. Participants work on various projects and receive the following: - Eight weeks of paid full-time employment Monday through Friday (8-hour days) - Hands-on experience and education in conservation, environmental management, and preservation - Training on light construction techniques for trails bridges or boardwalks - Valuable teamwork, leadership, communication, and life experience
