Administers Federal grant programs such as: - Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). - Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA). - Continuum of Care (COC). - Provides grants for social service agency programs and facility improvements that are within HUD guidelines and the city of Bloomington. - Provides funds for the demolition of vacant, deteriorated structures within Bloomington. - Provides funds for rehabilitation on single family owner occupied, income eligible households located within the City of Bloomington Corporate Limits. - Provides funds for infrastructure improvements located in low / moderate income areas - such as streets, curb, gutters, sidewalks, water, and sewer services.
