The WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) program provides food, education, referrals, and breastfeeding support for pregnant, breastfeeding, and post-partum women, infants, and children under age five. All caregivers are welcome to apply, including dads, moms, guardians, grandparents, and foster parents. WIC clinics are locations where individuals can apply and be certified for WIC benefits as well as receive their electronic transfer benefit (EBT) cards, as opposed to WIC grocery stores or WIC distribution centers where food is distributed.
