Emergency and Financial Services (EFS) provides comprehensive support to people in crisis, offering services and programming to help clients increase financial literacy and reach financial stability. Interventions include financial assistance, budgeting, case management, and advocacy on behalf of our clients.

Application process
Clients come to EZRA through a weekly screening (check website for times). They review all eligible clients weekly, and those who are accepted meet with a case manager for an intake. You are not required to bring any documents to the open screening. Please contact the intake line at (773) 467-3847 to be screened over the phone if you are unable to come in for walk-in hours.
Eligibility
To qualify for EZRA services, you must live in one of the participant zip codes or be Jewish or Russian speaking.
