The Macon County Community Volunteer Corps is a group dedicated to emergency response to a public health emergency. The CVC is affiliated with the Macon County Health Department, and trains and exercises for mass vaccinations during a public health outbreak, assists with public health education, and partners with the Red Cross for shelter training.
