Volunteer Recruitment/Placement | Macon County Community Volunteer Corps
The Macon County Community Volunteer Corps is a group dedicated to emergency response to a public health emergency. The CVC is affiliated with the Macon County Health Department, and trains and exercises for mass vaccinations during a public health outbreak, assists with public health education, and partners with the Red Cross for shelter training. The CVC screens volunteer applicants, provides training at no cost. With its affiliation with Macon County Health Department, the CVC provides volunteer opportunities at local and state levels.
