Hinda Institute

Hinda Institute has dedicated itself to helping individuals and their families navigate the criminal justice system and reentry to society with faith, community, and dignity. They are Jewish prison chaplains of Illinois and serve all correctional Institutions at the Federal and State levels as well as many jails with monthly visits, holidays, counseling, and advocacy. They run a dynamic Reentry program which includes casework, counseling, support groups, peer support, as well as employment services. They run a reentry education program with dynamic classes monthly, as well as a monthly annual event. Lastly, they support families and children who are collateral damage of the justice system.
