Applicants must have a diagnosed mental illness (as their primary diagnosis), be within the ages of 18-59, and if they have a history of substance use they have to be 90 days sober from all substances at the time of being admitted to the program; Medicaid is required

The Pilsen Inn Residential Services, funded by the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Mental Health, provides a 26-bed, 24-hour supervised residential setting for persons diagnosed with a mental illness.Rehabilitation services focus on increasing program participants' daily living skills, promoting independence, and sharing relevant knowledge and information related to their specific mental illness (i.e. importance of a medication regimen, adverse effects of discontinuing medications, signs and symptoms, etc.)Program services include Crisis intervention, Medication management, Independent living skills training, case management, and referrals for counseling services.
